MDF - and Good MDF ...

Is there a difference?

MDF has achieved its spectacular growth through excellent performance in panel machining and finishing operations, giving a new flexibility in design and manufacturing. Its ability to perform consistently makes it the preferred material for automated production and finishing lines.

A uniform MDF will perform consistently both within a pack, and between deliveries, and will be preferred over a more variable product.

Good MDF is uniform MDF

It is not hard to make MDF, but it is even easier to make good MDF.
To do so requires an understanding of the fibre source, the adhesive, and the process, and how these interact.

There is a difference.
